Payroll Functional PeopleSoft Lead

We are currently looking for an employee to join our team and help us deliver a PeopleSoft solution with one of our partners. The following is a brief description of the position. As a direct report to the CMA Project Manager, the Payroll Functional Lead will manage, lead and guide project team members through the implementation and into production of the new PeopleSoft Payroll system for Onandaga County government. This functional leadership role is responsible for providing professional consulting service to support all aspects of HCM systems implementation including requirements gathering, application design, application configuration and implementation, mentoring and training, and project management. 

Mandatory

·       PeopleSoft v8.9 or later U.S. Based payroll business analysis / configuration

·       Experience applying tax updates

·       Year End Processing and W2 Generation

·       Complex Union Rule analysis & implementation

·       Excellent written and oral communications / presentation skills

·       Must pass background check w/ County

·       3+ implementation cycles

Desired

·       PeopleSoft v8.9 or later Time & Labor integration experience

·       Experience with Kronos Time Keeping systems

·       Experience with Payroll to GL integration (PeopleSoft)

·       Experience with State / Local / Federal government implementation / operations

·       Experience with Unions

·       Experience with Hyperion Planning Plus

Other

·       Experience with SQL-Plus, Query, PeopleTools, SCRUM, Lean-Agile, delivering training and developing training materials

Years of Experience

·       10+ in related Payroll experience and/or PeopleSoft implementation/operations/upgrades
